About Maryville Highlanders Rugby

 The Maryville Highlanders Rugby Football Club is a men’s full contact rugby team founded in the fall of 2008 at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains in Blount County, Tennessee.  The Highlanders currently compete as a senior club team of the MidSouth Rugby Union which is a local area union within USA Rugby South, a territory of USA Rugby.  Our home pitch is located at American Legion Post 13 in Maryville, Tennessee.

 We seek to develop and field a team of highly competitive and community-minded players who are hard hitting and hard working and who will help advance Highlanders rugby and the sport of rugby in general.  We invite all prospective players (whether experienced or new to rugby) to join us at practice to learn more about our team and this exciting sport.
